Powerman 5000: Bombshell
OK I have to say, Powerman 5000 is easily my favorite band ever. I have a fanlisting for them, with a ton of fansite content. It is at pm5k.spiteful-pie.org. They are more like hard rock than anything else I listen to, and sometimes VERY cheesy. Cheesy as in they wore space-suits for one album and tour... *sigh* But they are really amazing. This is one of my favorite songs by them. It was on an album that didn't end up being released, possibly because of this song and it being right after 9-11. Maybe. But this song rocks so, so hard. Enjoy.

Also, would any members be interested in themed weeks, where we all post songs with a theme (songs about breaking up, songs that start with the letter A, songs with people's names in the title... whatever) Let me know!!

Diva Destruction- Enslaved
This is from a CD of mine called Unquiet Grave III, on disc 1, SIN. Diva Destruction is four person Goth band from Hollywood, formed in 1998... I think. They've won Best in LA Goth two years in a row. Their style is sort of dance meets dark with an infusion of classical instruments with electronic sounds.

Amy Ray: Put It Out For Good
This song is so beautiful it pretty much makes me cry. It is by Amy Ray, one of the Indigo Girls. The rest of her cd, Prom, I don't find nearly as amazing but man do I love this song.

My first post! I give you what is probably one of my alltime favorite songs - The Kill by 30 Seconds to Mars. Jared made me cry.. okay, tear up.. with how he introduced this song at the concert a few days ago when they started playing this song! I may post the acoustic version later (which is just simply amazing).

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly - Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly

I recently discovered Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly after downloading this song from the Skins newsletter. The lyrics speak for themselves, it's a true reflection of the materialistic society we live in today.

Tarot - Ashes to the Stars
(change xx to tt)

Tarot is a brilliant Finnish heavy metal band. They're said to be pretty much the first band within the genre in Finland as they started out already in the 80s. Their latest album "Crows Fly Black" is pure awesomeness. Their singers have two of the best metal voices I have ever heard (the lead singer has even won awards for it, he's the guy on the right in my icon by the way).
I saw them live last night and it was easily one of the best concerts I have ever seen ♥ We left another concert earlier to see if we could get in to this one and we did. Luckily. It was totally worth it.

Yoko Kanno: Lithium Flower
This is the theme song to Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex anime series, and it is unbelievably beautiful to me, even though it is about... surfing. urgh. weird huh? I am not sure why I am so crazy about this song but I pretty much am!

First up, I just want to say awesome community. ^^ I love things like this.

Klaxons: Magick

This is one of my favourite songs at the moment. Easiest way to describe Klaxons is 'noise', haha, there isn't really a specific genre that fits them. I just love how different they are to most other bands around. And they make no sense - hey, whatever. XD

Hawksley Workman: Jealous of Your Cigarette
Hawksley is one of my favorite musicians ever, sort of weird alternative rock I would call it. He has really funny and quirky lyrics and an amazing voice. He also plays a number of instruments, I believe. This song is some of the most entertaining lyrics ever, I think.
